Latin name: Flores Calendulae officinalis (Compositae / Asteraceae)

Utility at: epithelialization of ulcers and atopic skin wounds, has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action. It has bactericidal activity against pathogenic microorganisms, especially staphylococci and streptococci. Pollen is used in the treatment of malignancies of the esophagus, stomach and intestines. It has favorable results in domestic use in breast cancer and female genital organs (recommended as a prophylactic in the critical age of the woman). A soothing effect on the central nervous system, enhances the activity of the heart, hypertension and arrhythmias.
